AVA Sanction#/Distance/Rating: 125547 - 2024 / Y0957 - 10K with 5K option, rated 1B

Description: Newly Revised Route. This route offers sites featuring George Washington, the African American founder of Centralia. Tour historic neighborhoods and a city center full of antique shops. Also enjoy trails of Fort Borst and Riverfront Parks. You will walk mainly paved sidewalks, as well as some bark paths in this historic town, located halfway between Seattle and Portland.

Start/Finish Times: Daily - Dawn to Dusk. Closed on Christmas.

Accessibility/Amenities: Medium difficulty for strollers, not possible for wheelchairs. Pets are allowed. Restrooms are at the start point and in various locations en route.

Registration: This event has both an Online Start Box (OSB) and a Physical Start Box (PSB). You may register using either of these, but please complete the walk using the same method used to register to receive proper credit.

To register using the PSB, follow the directions below:

Start/End Location: Safeway Food & Drug Customer Service Counter at 1129 Harrison Ave., Centralia

Driving Directions: From I-5: Exit 82. Northbound: LEFT on Harrison Ave. Southbound: RIGHT on Harrison Ave. Drive two blocks. Safeway is on your LEFT.
