Event: Chehalis Historic Walk

Description: Newly Revised Route. The Chehalis Historic walk gives you a glimpse of the past. Walk past many buildings and homes on the National Register of Historic Places as you travel through neighborhoods and the main street of town. A few noteworthy are the Northern Pacific Railroad Depot, now the site of the Lewis County Historical Museum, the Obadiah B. McFadden house, the oldest continuously lived in residence in the state of Wa., and the US Post Office built by the Public Works Administration. The walk also touches on the future as you walk past the Penny Playground, newly remade as a playground that features toys that are all inclusive for our children.

Start/Finish Times: Daily - Dawn to Dusk.

Accessibility/Amenities: Not possible for strollers or wheelchairs. Pets are allowed. Restrooms are at the start point and in various locations en route.

Registration: This event has both an Online Start Box (OSB) and a Physical Start Box (PSB). You may register using either of these, but please complete the walk using the same method used to register to receive proper credit.

Driving Directions: From I-5 Northbound: Take Exit 77. Turn RIGHT. Take immediate LEFT into Liberty Place. From I-5 Southbound: Take Exit 77. Take LEFT over freeway. Take first LEFT into Liberty Place. Ask for walk box at registration counter.
