AVA Sanction#/Distance/Rating: 92085 2012/Y0975 10K with 5K option - Rated 1B

Dates: January 1 to September 30 (Seasonal closure due to hunting in the fall)

Description: Walk on unpaved roads through restored prairie. Let this rolling prairie soothe you in the same way that it did pioneers who first settled this land in the 1800s. A WASHINGTON STATE FISH AND WILDLIFE VEHICLE USE PERMIT is required to access the Scatter Creek Wildlife Area, within which a large portion of this event is located.

Start/End Location: AM/PM Shell Station at 19704 Old Highway 99 SW, Grand Mound (Drive to START)

Driving Directions: From I-5 Northbound: Exit 88B. RIGHT on Hwy 12. From I-5 Southbound: Exit 88. RIGHT on Hwy 12. LEFT on Old Highway 99 SW. AM/PM Shell is on your LEFT, next to McDonald's.

Start/Finish Times: Daily - Dawn to Dusk. Make sure you are done by dusk, as there are NO LIGHTS WHATEVER in the Wildlife Area.

Accessability/Amenities: Not possible for strollers or wheelchairs. Pets are allowed. Restrooms are at the start point and in the Scatter Creek Wildlife Area.
